We believe at The Bespoke Carpentry Co that we provide high quality items made with the best available materials for very reasonable prices.

We ask all of our buyers to understand the cost implications for our business when damages occur in transit or when orders on the odd occasion go array and therefore, appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these circumstances and rest assured we aim to provide you with the best service in the most cost effective way.

We cannot take responsibility for delays on deliveries although we will chase these up for you if required and any damages that are caused are of course covered by us.

Our items are stained with a liquid wax tint and the stain achieved will vary depending on the reclaimed timber at the time, stain swatches are only a rough guide. Your items MUST be unpackaged on the day of delivery to discuss any issues or imperfections, if not contacted within 48hrs after delivery has occurred and the item remains packaged beyond that time frame, we won't take responsibility of any movement in the timber since it cannot class as properly stored, which can lead to movement.

It is common for reclaimed timber to shift, move and adjust to the moisture content of its surroundings, even though we take every precaution in protecting the timber. Some unstained spots may also appear if shifting occurs.

We advise you NOT to place any of our items in direct sunlight or near a radiator, as the added heat can cause movement. If blank spot appear due to this we are happy to send touch up kits to fix the unstained areas but, the condition and longevity of the item results from how it's maintained over time.

We cannot take responsibility for any major movement on our products if you have it directly next to radiators or under direct sunlight as, since our items are made from natural solid wood their condition and longevity will correlate with the maintenance they will receive over time. Please be aware that any extreme fluctuations in temperature can cause the timber to shrink.

All deliveries are 2-Man Deliveries, if you require them to be left in a room of choice we cannot guarantee this will happen with the Standard Delivery option as it will depend on the driver. If you require this service however it is available at checkout. Deliveries will only be taken up to 3 flights of stairs if there is no lifts available.
